The recipient of this painting Zhao Peiming, who is the eldest son of Mr. Zhao Juyu. Zhao Juyu was a native of Hengshan, Hunan and graduated from the Department of Business Administration of Fudan University. He used to be the manager of the Bank of Hunan and the manager of the Hangzhou Branch of the Central Trust Bureau. After arriving in Taiwan in 1949, he served as the manager of the Life Insurance Division of Taiwan’s “Central Trust Bureau Taiwan Branch” and the chairman of the National Army Retired Officers and Soldiers Guidance Committee in the Executive Yuan. He was a member of the 11th Central Standing Committee of the Kuomintang.
