Lot Essay

Zhou Houyuan, a native of Hukou, Jiangxi, attended jinshi in the thirty-sixth year of Qianlong reign, served in the Hanlin Academy, and later transferred Tianjin's Water Department. He was good at poetry and calligraphy.
