The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Epitaph of Master Wei (Engraved in 677):
-It is in our opinion that the work is in overall perfect condition.

Mahā Karuṇā Dhāranī Sutra and Heart Sutra in Running Script:
-Each sheet has multiple fold lines throughout;
there are a few stain marks concentrated on the lower left side of three sheets;
-Some sheets have smaller minor holes;
-there are two characters that have the paper surface removed and rewritten, mostly done by the artist himself;
-otherwise they are in good condition.
