SPECIALIST'S NOTES
Zhou Jinran (17th-18th Century), courtesy name Guangju, sobriquest Guangan, was a native of Shanghai. He passed the civil examination in 1682 and became an official of Internal Affairs. Proficient in calligraphy, he was praised by the Emperor Kangxi for his retirement.
