    NOTE:
    A native of Canton, Ou Zhenxiong was a renowned Hong Kong-based collector of Chinese paintings and calligraphies, whose studio name is Xiong Zhai. A close friend of many modern Chinese masters, amongst whom were Zhang Daqian, Pu Ru, Fu Baoshi, Yu Youren and Lin Fengmian. Ou was able to build a collection superb in both quantity and quality.
