Lot Essay

He Weipu, who styled himself as Shisun, Pansou, Qiuhuaju, Wansui Laoren, and Panzhi, was a native of Hunan. The grandson of He Shaoji, he specialized in landscape paintings as well as calligraphy, and did some engraving work.
