1. LI YANSHENG

NOTE:
Li Yansheng is a painter who also serves as the vice chairman of the Art Committee of the China National Academy of Painting, and a national first-class artist. He has studied under several masters of Chinese painting, including Guan Shanyue, Pan Tianshou, Jiang Zhaohe, Li Keran, and Huang Zhou. Li is particularly skilled in depicting figures, flowers and birds, and landscapes, with his representations of deer being especially noteworthy. His works have received numerous accolades and are housed in prestigious collections, including Zhongnanhai, the State Council, the Xihua Hall of Zhou Enlai's former residence, the Chinese Embassy in France, the National Art Museum of China, and the Palace Museum. His art has also been presented as state gifts to foreign dignitaries on multiple occasions.


2. LIANG SHUNIAN

NOTE:
Liang Shunian has served as a professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and is renowned as a painter, seal artist, and poet. He initially studied under the painter Qi Jingxi. In 1936, he founded the Doucun Painting Society and, in 1945, became a protégé of Zhang Daqian, focusing on the techniques of past masters such as Wang Shigu, Shitao, Guo Xi, and Wang Meng. Liang is particularly adept at landscape painting, blending the characteristics of both Southern and Northern Schools to create a robust and unrefined style. His works are displayed in significant venues, including the General Office of the State Council, the Great Hall of the People, the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, China Central Television, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.


3. CHEN WEIXIN

NOTE:
Chen Weixin, known by the pen name Chen Shi, previously served as an artist at the Beijing Painting Academy and was a national first-class artist. From a young age, Chen was passionate about poetry, prose, calligraphy, and painting. In 1939, he was admitted to the Palace Museum's Institute of Traditional Chinese Painting in Beiping, where he engaged in the copying of ancient masterpieces. That same year, he entered the National Art College in Beiping, and after graduation, he dedicated himself to the creation of traditional Chinese paintings and art education. The Shandong Provincial Museum holds six of his works, while additional pieces are collected by the Shenzhen Museum and the Beijing Artists Association.
