In 1982, to promote Chinese arts and culture, the current owner’s family organised an exhibition of modern Chinese paintings in Canada with the help of the Chinese government. With the participation of over 50 Chinese painters, the exhibition was held across Canada (Vancouver, Edmonton, Toronto and Ottawa). These paintings were also featured in the exhibition and have been with the family since then.
