Lot Essay

Rong Geng was a well-known scholar of ancient Chinese characters and an archaeologist in modern China. He had in-depth research on bronze script. In addition, Rong’s seal script calligraphy was held in high regard.

The calligraphy in oracle bone script is a content of divination which is about a conflict among Shang and other states during the Shang dynasty.
