SPECIALIST'S NOTES
Liu Yong (1719-1804), courtesy name Chong Ru, sobriquest Shi’an, was a native of Dangshan, Anhui province. He passed the civil examination in 1751 and eventually became a Senior Secretary. Proficient in calligraphy, he was nicknamed the Prime Minister of Dark Ink.
