Dated summer, gengchen year (1940)

3. Seven-Character Calligraphic Couplet in Regular Script
A pair of scrolls, mounted for framing, ink on paper
Each scroll measures 135.5 x 33.5 cm. (53 38 x 13 14 in.)
Inscribed and signed by Tan Zekai, with two seals
Dedicated to Zhishi

NOTE:
There are four additional lots, including a Qi Baishi Balsamine and Mynah and a Yu Youren Calligraphic Couplet also dedicated to Zhishi that will be offered in the Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings on 2 December 2022.
