The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
1. XIA HUI (1765-AFTER 1829)
Orchid
-There are many horizontal creases throughout;
-there are stain marks and mould spots throughout, especially concentrated at the lower section;
-otherwise it is in overall good condition.

2. WU DEYI (1864-1928)
Bamboo and Rock
-there are stain marks and mould spots throughout;
-there are paper surface damages throughout;
-otherwise it is in overall fair condition.
