The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after its initial manufacture.
-It is of our opinion that this work is in an overall fair condition.
-Foxing and dirt marks are found on the silk.
-There are some cracks, creases and scratches, mainly in the lower portion of the scroll.
-Various small holes and wormholes are found, mainly near the top corners and in the lower portion of the scroll, remounted, some retouched.
