FURTHER DETAILS
Madam Chan Hui (Emilie Chan) is the founder of a private art center in Hong Kong, an art educator, and a painter. She has been engaged in educational work for over forty years, gaining recognition particularly for her dedication to teaching individuals with physical and mental disabilities. Madam Chan has extensive curatorial experience and maintains good relationships within the artistic community. Her art center was the first to host the “Hong Kong Masters Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition,” featuring renowned artists such as Zhao Shao’ang, Chan Jinghong, and She Xueman. Notably, Zhao Shao’ang personally inscribed a plaque with the name of her art center as a gift to madam Chan. The lots in this auction were a set of gifts from Zhao Shao’ang, to celebrate madam Chan's birthday.
