The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
This work is in an overall fair condition. Foxing, dirt marks and scratches are found on the scroll. There are some horizontal creases, mainly in the lower part of the painting. Signs of restoration or retouch, small holes and small patches of paper loss are identified, remounted.
