We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture. Both jar and cover:
-wear, tiny knocks and light scratches to surface consistent with age and use
-a few iron spots and burst glaze bubbles
jar: a few small knocks with associated small star cracks to the body
cover: a few firing cracks, one with associated chips to the inner collar
