The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- a hairline extends from the mouth rim to the shoulder
- fritting and shallow chips to the mouth rim, some of which have been polished
- a few burst glaze bubbles and iron spots to both interior and exterior and to the base
- a small cross-shaped crack and a few short firing cracks to the interior
-expected light surface abrasion and scratches consistent with age and use
- a few kiln grit adhesions to the foot rim
