The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- two hairline cracks to one handle at where it joins the vase
- a tiny knock and a few light scratches to the body
- a small shallow glaze flake below the exterior of the mouth
- an iron spot to the interior below the mouth and to the body
- a few kiln grit adhesion to the foot and wear to the brown dressing on the foot rim
- some black speckling in the glaze
