A PAIR OF SUSANCAI WALL VASES AND A PAIR OF CARVED RED LACQUER WALL VASES
18TH-19TH CENTURY
Each susancai vase is decorated in green, aubergine, yellow and cream in relief with chrysanthemum and lion mask. Each red lacquer vases is of double-gourd form and carved with an pattern of leafy vines bearing numerous double gourds, dragon flies, and a bat at the top underneath the mouth.
