The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Cup:
- two tiny chips and another restored chip with a larger area of associated overpainting to the mouth rim
- some irregularities in the glaze

Stand:
- restored chips on the foot, interior and exterior rim
- a few other tiny, shallow chips

Bowl:
- chips and nicks to both mouth and foot rim
- a few short hairline cracks
- expected light surface scratches and abrasion
