THREE BLUE AND WHITE 'LOTUS' DISHES
19TH CENTURY
Each of the two smaller dishes is painted with a central medallion of lotus meander below a band of demi-lotus sprays at the rim, and with a frieze of lotus scroll on the exterior. One dish is inscribed with an apocryphal six-character Guangxu mark on the base, the other with an apocryphal six-character Kangxi mark on the base. The larger dish is painted on the interior with a central medallion of a lotus surrounded by lotus sprays and is inscribed with an apocryphal six-character Guangxu mark on the base.
6 7/8, 6, and 5 ½ in. (17.5, 15.3, 14 cm.) diam.
