TWO BLUE AND WHITE BOWLS
17TH CENTURY
The large bowl has deep, rounded sides and is decorated on the exterior with roundels of cranes and deer. The interior is decorated with a hare in the center, and the base has an apocryphal six-character Xuande mark. The small bowl is finely potted with tall rounded sides, decorated with lotus scroll and lingzhi pattern.
11 ¼ in. (28.5 cm.), 7 7/8 in. (20 cm.) diam.
