We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Larger bowl:
- a large pump associated with firing crack to the mouth rim
- a few other firing cracks, frits and burst glaze bubbles to both exterior and interior
- a few glaze gaps to the interior and to the base
- the mouth rim has been polished
- expected surface wear and scratches, consistent with age and use

Smaller bowl:
- mouth rim has been slightly polished with associated short firing cracks and light fritting
- expected wear and scratches to both interior and exterior, consistent with age and use
- a small firing flaw to the base
- a few small polished pumps at the center of the interior
- a burst glaze bubble to the exterior of the foot
