Both jars and covers:
- both landscape and figural panels are finely depicted in vivid wucai palette
- fritting and chips to edges and rims

Jars:
- both with chips to mouth rims
- both with expected surface scratches and abrasion consistent with age and use
- both with kiln grit adhesions to foot
- both with glaze gaps and firing cracks to base and interior
- one with a hairline crack extending from the mouth rim to the body

Covers:
- both with a few firing cracks, especially to the interior
- both with chips to inner collar
- one with restoration and overpainting to one side
