The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
larger:
- the bowl is misfired and with some degradation to the glaze
- two vertical hairlines with gold repair extending from the mouth rim
-glaze gaps and light fritting to the mouth rim
- chips to foot rim
- the number 66250 is inscribed in black to the base
smaller bowl:
- a few chips to the mouth rim
- burst glaze bubbles and glaze gap to both exterior and interior
- kiln grit adhesion to the base and foot rim
- expected surface wear to both exterior and interior consistent with age and use
dish:
- two filled chips, one of which is with an associated hairline, to the mouth rim
- other chips and nicks to the mouth and foot rim
jar:
- two areas of restoration to the mouth
- a large kiln grit adhesion and two iron spots to the exterior
- another kiln grit adhesion to the base
- a number 6223 is inscribed to the base
