Oil on canvas The canvas is unlined and attached to a new stretcher. A support canvas has been attached to the outer edges. The paint layer is secure and stable showing a soft pattern of aging craquelure throughout. The paint layer is covered in light surface dirt. Examination under UV light shows very few minor cosmetic spots of inpaint. The painting is in a simple gilt frame.
