The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the condition of these peices acquierd after their initial manufacture.
- Both figures have a paper label attached to base reading Chateau de Groussay, 2 June 1999, lot 279.
- Both figures have age-related surface wear and scratches and some speckled areas of light discolouration to the glaze in places.
- The figure holding a lotus in his left hand has had its' head re-attached.
- The same figure has two small nicks to the hands.
- There is an small old shallow chip running along the surface rim of the lotus head aperture of the boy with stem in his left hand.
- Please note that the figures have not been examined under UV light due to restrictions presented by Covid-19.
