The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Charcoal on paper. The reverse of the sheet is hinged to the mount at the edges. The remnants of an old mounting tape in places at the reverse upper edge, some showing at the extreme upper corners. The edges are slightly uneven, mainly the left edge. Some handling marks and charcoal smudging in places. The charcoal is strong and fresh throughout. It is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.

Fusain sur papier. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu par des charnières sur les bords à un carton de montage. Les résidus d'un ancien adhésif de montage au revers sur le bord supérieur, certains visible au recto à l'extrémité des coins supérieurs. Les bords sont légèrement irréguliers, principalement le bord gauche. Des froissures dues à la manipulation et légère estompe du fusain par endroits. Le fusain est vif et frais sur l'ensemble de la composition. Selon notre opinion cette œuvre apparait en bonne condition générale.
