The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Pen and India ink, and pencil on paper. Hinged to the mount in two places at the upper reverse sheet edge. Some pale discoloration mainly along the extreme sheet edges. The sheet stems from the artist's sketchbook as visible from the minor dents at the extreme left sheet edge. A few pale foxmarks in places, and a few more visible on the reverse sheet towards the left sheet edge. The ink and pencil are very strong throughout. It is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.

Plume et encre de Chine et graphite sur papier. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu par des charnières sur le bord supérieur à un montage. Légère décoloration de la feuille à l'extrémité des bords. La feuille semble avoir été retirée d'un carnet à dessins comme visible sur les légères encoches à l'extrémité du bord gauche. Quelques légères rares piqûres par endroits, certaines visibles au rebers vers le bord gauche. L'encre et le graphite sont très vifs. Selon notre opinion cette œuvre apparait très bonne condition générale.
