The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Charcoal on tinted paper. Hinged to the mount in two places at the upper reverse sheet edge. Some pale discoloration mainly along the extreme sheet edges. The sheet stems from the artist's sketchbook as visible from the minor nicks at the extreme upper sheet dege. A few very pale foxmarks in places. The charcoal is strong throughout. It is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.

Fusain sur papier teinté. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu par des charnières sur le bord supérieur à un carton de montage. Légère décoloration de la feuille principalement à l'extrémité des bords. La feuille semble être issue d'un carnet à dessins comme visible sur les encoches mineures du bord gauche. Quelques rares piqûres par endroits. Le fusain est vif. Selon notre opinion cette œuvre apparait en très bonne condition générale.
