The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Partially glazed painted terracotta ashtray. Some very minor areas of rubbing undearneath. Some scattered small spots of mainly visible in the white background, inherent to the firing process. Some uneveness with hairline craquelures in places in the black pigments, some with associated small unobstrusive paint losses, inherent to the artist's technique. It is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.

Cendrier en terre cuite peinte et partiellement émaillée. Quelques rares zones d'abrasion de surface en-dessous. Des petites piqûres éparses par endroits principalement visibles à l'arrière-plan blanc, inhérentes au processus de cuisson.Irrégularité dans les pigments noirs associée à de très fines craquelures par endroits, certaines associées à de petits manques de peinture discrets et inhérents à la technique de l'artiste. Selon notre opinion cette œuvre apparait en bonne condition générale.
