The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Glazed painted ceramic. Some pale surface dirt with a few associated spots of accretion in places. Some areas of rubbing, some associated with small chips on the rim and towards the smaller rim on the top of the face. A few small areas of surface abrasion, handling marks, and superficial scuffs, corresponding to age and handling, one or two associated with small pigment losses in places. A very few scattered small spots of foxing in places, inherent to the firing process. It is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.

Céramique peinte et émaillée. Légère salissure de surface associée à quelques rares points de saleté par endroits. Des zones d'usures associées à de petits éclats sur le bord du vase and vers le plus petit bord au-dessus de la tête. Quelques rares zones d'abrasion de surface, marques dues à la manipulation et éraflures superficielles, correspondant à l'âge et la manipulation, une à deux associées à de rares petits manques de peinture par endroits. Quelques très rares petites piqûres éparses par endroits, inhérentes au processus de cuisson. Selon notre opinion cette œuvre apparait en bonne condition générale.
