The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Glazed and engraved painted ceramic rectangular dish. Some pale surface dirt mainly in the recesses. Some hairline craquelures mainly in the yellow background and inherent to the glazing process, a very few associated with small chips in places. Some minor areas of rubbing and handling marks mainly towards the edges. Some scattered spots of foxing in places, inherent to the firing process. It is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.

Plat rectangulaire en céramique peinte incisée et émaillée. Légère salissure de surface principalement dans les recoins. De très fines craquelures principalement à l'arrière-plan jaune, inhérent au processus d'émaillage, certaines associées à de petits éclats par endroits. Légères zones d'usure par endroits et de marques dues à la manipulation principalement vers les bords. De petites piqûres éparses par endroits, inhérentes au processus de cuisson. Selon notre opinion cette œuvre apparait en bonne condition générale.
