The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Partially glazed painted ceramic jug. Some surface dirt with associated spots of accretion in places. A few small areas of surface abrasion and handling marks corresponding to age and handling, a few with minute paint losses. A few scattered bubbles and small spots of foxing in places, inherent to the firing process. It is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
Carafe en céramique peinte partiellement émaillée. Salissure de surface associée à des points de saleté par endroits. Quelques rares zones d'abrasion de surface et marques dues à la manipulation, correspondant à l'âge et la manipulation, quelques rares associés à de petits manques de peinture. Quelques rares bulles et petites piqûres éparses par endroits, inhérentes au processus de cuisson. Selon notre opinion cette œuvre apparait en bonne condition générale.
