The canvas is not lined. With abrasion to the extreme edges. Overall with extensive surface soiling and scattered pinpoints of pigment loss. A fine abraded line running parallel to the bottom edge of the frame and with associated pigment loss. Thin pieces of wood nailed to each edge, possibly by the artist. Examined under ultraviolet light. The canvas with an unevenly applied varnish that is also visible to the naked eye. Please note that Christie's does not guarantee the condition of frames.
