With surface soiling, wear and abrasions to the high points, notably at the upper left corner, a small area at the center, a small area in the lower left quadrant and the upper edge. Scattered fine lines of craquelure and one area of paint lifting in the lower left quadrant. Thin strips of wood nailed to each edge, possibly by the artist.
