The board is very slightly bowed. The canvas was unevenly laid down on the board, likely by the artist, creating minor buckling in the canvas layer. Two vertical surface abrasions, one 4¹⁄₂ in. and one 1 in., at center right. One approximately 2 in. horizontal abrasion in the background at upper right, and a few minor scattered scuffs to the paint layer.
