The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

With minor surface scratches, knocks, marks and chips consistent with age and handling. Some surface dirt to the crevices. Some hairline cracks running through areas of the carving including the face, these are stable and seemingly consistent with the material. Very minor chip to the thumb. Finial to the crown and object held in the proper right hand (likely to have been a sceptre) now lacking. The reverse simply finished.
