The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good condition overall. With the inevitable minor marks, surface scratches, knocks and rubbing consistent with age and handling. Some small shrinkage at the edges of the cross. The gilt mounts and figure ofChrist with some tarnishing and knocks. A few pins probably later replacements. The shagreen case with general wear and the interior worn overall and with blackened bald edges. The case with an openning at the top for a chain attachement to be left on the loop if required.
