Calligraphic Couplet

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
There are horizontal creases throughout the couplet. The paper appears yellow. Some minor water stains can be seen in the lower part of the left scroll. There is a small paper tear on the left scroll, in the lower part of the paper. It is in our opinion that this work is in very good to excellent condition.
