JEFFERSON, Thomas (1743-1826). Partly-printed document signed ("Thomas Jefferson") as President, Washington, 3 February 1807.

One page on vellum, 215 x 380mm. Countersigned by James MADISON (1751-1836) ("James Madison") as Secretary of State (abrasions from seal removal result in two minor cuts, minor losses at margins, light soiling, signatures slightly faded but remain legible).

A land certificate issued to Samuel Miller of Fairfield County, Ohio, certifying that he had made "full payment for the West Half of Lot or Section Number Four, of Township number Fifteen, in Range number Eighteen."
