Set no 23 of 40, containing 15 manuscript leaves from 12th century Cairo to 18th century Russia and Tibet. Languages represented include Arabic, Syriac, Armenian, Ethiopic, Persian, Tibetan, Greek, and Church Slavic—the latter two including musical notation. A complete list of contents is available upon request.

15 leaves, various sizes, each hinged to uniform card window mounts (469 x 332mm). 14 leaves on paper, one on vellum, some heighted in gold or with other illuminations, each with printed paper slip identifying contents; two copies of the contents leaf. In original black portfolio with ties (slightly squished).
