Appointing George Nauman as Colonel of the Fifth Regiment of Artillery. Also signed by Edwin M. STANTON as Secretary of War (top margins trimmed and in-filled).

Document signed as President, Washington, 3 August 1861. One page, 505 x 380mm, with paper seal. Appointing Ezra B. French as Second Auditor of the Treasury. Also signed by William H. SEWARD as Secretary of the Treasury (marginal chipping and toning, mounted to a board).

Document signed as President, Washington, 1 July 1864. One page, 455 x 397mm., with affixed seal and patriotic vignettes at top and bottom. Appointing Edward A. King as Colonel in the Sixth Regiment of Infantry. Also signed by Edwin M. STANTON as Secretary of War (top margins trimmed, top half of seal absent).

Document signed as President, Washington, 6 March 1863. One page, 352 x 432mm., with patriotic vignette at top. Appointing John R. Halsted as the Collector of Internal Revenue for the 79th Collection District of New York. Also signed by Salmon CHASE as Secretary of the Treasury (chipped with numerous bisections, some repaired with tape on the verso, uneven toning from prior framing).

Fellman as Captain in the Veteran Reserve Corps. Also signed by Edwin M. STANTON as Secretary of War (toned at the margins, Stanton's signature lightened.)
