Ordering supplies for his laboratory. * LISTER, Joseph. Autograph letter signed ("Lister") to Dr. Dean, Buxton, 4 September 1902. Praising his correspondent's work and urging he publish, but not before having "personal communication with you." * FARADAY, Michael. Autograph letter signed ("M Faraday") to Mr. Uputt[?], Royal Institution, 2 April 1828. One page, 8vo. Thanking his correspondent for "laying some very interesting papers of yours on the table of the Library during tone of the Friday Meetings." * LAVOISIER, Antoine (1743-1794). Autograph letter signed ("Lavoisier") to an unnamed correspondent, Chalons, 13 July 1769. 2 pages, 4to. Lavoisier announces his arrival in Chalons on business for the Farmers General and seeks his correspondent's advice. * KOCH, Robert. Autograph letter signed ("R. Koch"), Berlin, 12 February 1898.
