Doheny copy of the Kelmscott edition of the poetry of Percy Shelley. Shelley's work was edited by Ellis for this set. The silk ties were omitted in the bindings of the 250 copies printed on paper; the six copies printed on vellum did have silk ties, however. Peterson A29.

Three volumes, octavo (207 x 143mm). Printed in Golden type, vols 2 and 3 printed in red and black. Full page woodcut title page in vol 1, numerous woodcut borders, decorations, and initials (a few gatherings in vol 3 unopened). Contemporary limp vellum with gilt-lettered titles on spines. Provenance: Estelle Doheny (morocco book label).
