12mo. Color frontispiece and 26 color plates by Beatrix Potter (one plate with two spots on blank verso). Original tan boards with pictorial cover label, pictorial endpapers. Provenance: Joan Dorothy Carter (faded gift inscription dated 1920 opposite half-title).
