Double-page title-page printed in red and black with engraved vignette, double-page engraved frontispiece, 74 folding double-page maps, 15 plates and diagrams in Bion text including double-page folding celestial map, all plates hand-colored and heightened with gold (some small stains and occasional spotting, short marginal tear in 3M2). Contemporary speckled calf (rebound preserving upper and lower covers); modern quarter sheep over brown cloth box.
