1. VIGNOLES, Charles. Observations upon the Floridas. New York: E. Bliss and E. White, 1823. First edition in original boards, uncut. Octavo.
2. PENSACOLA – Broadside advertisement for the Pensacola Academy, listing terms of tuition, 13 December 1832. Quarto. Housed in clamshell box.
3. PENSACOLA – CUNNINGHAM, James P. Autograph letter signed, to his father, Pensacola, 13 December 1832. Three pages, quarto (conjoined leaves, integral address leaf). The principal of Pensacola Academy describes his journey there to his father in New Hampshire, and the prospects of the school. In closing, “do not let this letter be seen.” (Seal hole with a small loss.)
4. LAUDONIERRE. L’Histoire notable de la Floride. Paris: Jannet, 1853. 12mo. Quarter calf (rubbed).
5. STOWE, Harriet Beecher. Palmetto-Leaves. Boston: Osgood, 1873. First edition. Octavo. Illustrated. Pictorial cloth.
6. FLORIDA KEYS – BRADFORD, William (Bahamian official). Autograph document signed as deputy secretary, New Providence, Bahama Islands, 13 July 1767. Two pages, bifolium quarto (a few scattered dampstains). A true copy of a protest lodged by James Bourk "last Master of the Brigantine Apollo," that ran aground at Key Largo where he lost his ship and much of his cargo. The protest appears to hold the "Reef of Florida [responsible] for all Losses, Damages & Expenses hitherto sustained…"
