Tasting note:
Deep orange color. Fine honey cake and cacao nose, with aromas of roasted hazelnuts, sweet dried red grapes, all fine styled, lively and very well balanced. Obviously aged for a 40 year+ period in wood then transferred to demi john. On the palette dried fruits like on the nose, intense and fine, lovely lingering acidity emerging from the natural sweetness. In the after taste dried blue berries, great complexity, this is more intense and sweeter then the Verdelho but so well integrated in the wine. Fine length. Amazing wine! – E.V.
