Quinta do Serrado, Terrantez Madeira 1872
Damaged wax capsule. Stencilled bottle. Level: into-neck
Tasting note: High-toned nose, fairy reserved at first with a remarkable minty aroma. Subtle like a whisper. Nicely opening up in the glass. Softly sweet start of taste, rounded with fine long aromas from an extended cask aging, refined. This has character. Rounded after taste with medium length. The next week showing more development, especially on the palette. Clearly has benefitted. A strong Terrantez with softly sweet after taste and plenty of grip from the extract rich finish. Strong wine. 96p. April 2024. EV.
